Meet Cheerio- the adorable, 5 year old coconut retriever from our partners in St. Thomas! This guy LOVES his doggy pals and would do best in a home with another pup to spend his time with! He’s housebroken and ready to find a comfortable couch to call his own! He’s a real sweetheart with a taste for adventure but enjoys cuddling up with you just as much! He would do best in a home with no cats!

Arthur is a neutered, young adult male that comes to us from Puerto Rico! He is a real sweetheart, and was at Paradise Rescue in PR for almost 2 years. He was a shelter favorite, and they even raised funds to bring Arthur to us! He is super affectionate, and just wants to be loved. Arthur needs to go an experienced adult-only home. He cannot go to a home with other pets, or regular animal vistors. Arthur had a hard start to life, and just wants a family to call his own. Serious inquiries only!

Jasper is a dog friendly (not cats), neutered sweet boy that came to us from a very bad situation. He is approximately 5-6 years old. Jasper is so gentle, but can be fearful of new things. Donny is a 4 year old neutered male from our partners in St. Thomas Pets with Wings. The island residents lovingly call their mixed breeds, coconut retrievers and Donny is one of them! He is a playful young boy who would enjoy an active home with adults and teen children only. He loves squeaky toys and is extremely food motivated. He would prefer to be the only dog but could potentially live with an older calm dog. Adopters should have dog experience and will receive 2 behavioral sessions with our partners Pawsitive K9 Behavior School to help him adjust.

Macy and her sister Maddie were welcomed to Heart of Glass last spring after their owner sadly passed away. They were staying with our friends at Gloucester County Virginia animal control for over a year before coming to us. Macy is a 5 year old, spayed female that is housebroken and INCREDIBLY sweet and gentle. Her favorite activities are cuddling on the couch and long walks. These sisters are not bonded. Timber is a young neutered adult male who is energetic and affectionate. He loves to run around and needs to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Meet Roo! He is a 3 year old male bully mix from the Southside of Pittsburgh. He is such a smart and affectionate boy who truly thrives on leaning commands and obedience training. He even knows French commands! Roo is create trained and dog friendly but needs an experienced adult only home who will practice his training and skills daily. His adopter needs to be committed to maintaining and actively training alongside an approved behaviorist in his new home.

Meet Tamara aka TT! This cutie is a bundle of joy to be around. She would love to take a nice walk with you, come home to cuddle on the couch, and spend some time chewing on a toy! This sweet girl would do best in a home with adults only and a calm environment. She is dog selective so if you've already got a furry friend, she would need to meet them first with the help of our partners at Pawsitive K9 Behavior School!

This boy is such a cutie! Tater Tot is around 5 years old and comes from St Thomas. He is currently heartworm positive but is undergoing treatment. He absolutely loves his toys and would be happy to carry them around with him all day! Tater tot would do best in an active home since he loves taking his walks, playing in the yard, and romping around with his favorite toys. This lovebug is available through our partners Pawsitive K9 Behavior School!

Meet Marley! This sweetheart is available through our friend Dr. Giulia Sullivan. Marley was sadly abandoned by her previous family but that has never affected her love of humans and she continues to be a social butterfly. This girl is a ball of fun and enjoys romping around and playing. She does love other dogs but likes to roughhouse and isn't always tuned into social cues given by other dogs. For this reason, her foster believes she would do best as an only-dog or with a dog of similar temperament pending a successful meet and greet. Marley receives weekly training which would need to be continued with her new family and her first two months will be paid for to ease her into a new dynamic.
